Gohar Educational and Welfare Foundation (GEWF-USA)
GEWF is a USA based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization (Federal Tax ID #88-3206278) that supports the education of underprivileged children globally and in Pakistan. It has an active network of supporters in states across the United States. GEWF-USA is established by a group of ex-pat citizens to provide charitable and educational assistance, by adopting and or building schools. GEWF-USA founders actively involved in several socio-economic, education and health projects in Pakistan and in process of adopting schools and provide complete financial support. GEWF-USA’s Directors have full discretion and control over the use of all donationsto support specific projects (adoption of schools/free education) in Pakistan and globally. Contributions to GEWF-USA are tax-deductible in USA.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! GOD bless you all, and thanks to your unwavering support and generosity. we are proud to announce the adoption of BYJ girls high school and primary school in Karachi, Pakistan. This initiative will allow us to provide free, quality education to 500 +children.

A NIGHTMARE
The adoption team with experts agreed that state-run BYJGSS and BYJPS are no less than a nightmare, lacking even the most necessary of facilities both to provide a safe, clean, secure learning physical environment and adequate soft resources including teachers, support staff to deliver quality education.
The adopters process walks with experts confirmed that both schools in a dilapidated condition with cracked fallen ceiling, leaking roof, missing window, broken desks, missing light fixtures and more. There is no safety, security, cleanliness, and safe drinking water.
Based on the as-is condition, the adoption team decided to take immediate surgical action to enhance the as-is soft resources and infrastructure related maintenance repair work so quality education is provided in a safe, secure and clean environment.
